I ordered 12 monkeys and within 3 MINUTES, I changed my mind and sent the cancellation request.

10 minutes later, Zvvi emailed me and said the cancellation could not be honoured, as it was already at the dispatching stage.. that was a big steeping pile of BS

Just had a reply to my query about this and fdtd as I managed to get orders in for both but I had no dispatch notice, have been told they are both out of stock with their suppliers but as soon as back in they will dispatch, so looks like I won't get either

Yep, just had another email confirming this is out of stock, now if there were a 100 copies left, you can't tell me a 100 people managed to order them in the couple of mins they were live, more likely 20 or 30 people ordered multiple copies. Cheers

Hey guys - if it's not been stated recently, we have mentioned that Zavvi's system has to be manually turned off, so at points this causes some orders to be placed when the stock has run out.

Having said that, the flip side of this coin is that Zavvi did not need to announce the return of the small amount of this title at all -they could have simply pushed out the listing for sale and never made a peep.

In that regard, I think we're very lucky to get advanced notice on this title or any title on the forums - about their availability, if they are close to selling out, or many other announcements.

I'm sure this has allowed some members here to grab a copy that were not able to before...

Thanks to everyone for their feedback - there is always room for improvement in any retail system.

Mine's just arrived today, and it's nice to see justice being done to a film of this quality. It's just a gorgeous steelbook!

I really hope the people that want this enough can pick it up for a reasonable price because it's definitely worth having.
