I ordered an extra when it went back up the other day. I checked my order status and it is cancelled. I never cancelled my order. The kicker is they sent me an email today apologizing that the steelbook has not yet been sent. Sounds like someone messed up, and it wasn't me!

All the pics/reviews for this edition look are great. A limited run of this film was a great idea. Paul Thomas Anderson's masterpiece. I love this film, and really looking forward to this Steelbook. Because this is a personal favorite film & so called "Limited" edition, I pre-ordered One to open and enjoy, & One To keep Sealed Mint or to serve as a backup. Bases covered.

ARGHHHHH!

After all that fuss...got in to find mine had arrived. Opened up the box, looks really nice and decided to keep it. Unsealed it to find a HUGE DENT on the reverse! SO annoyed - why did it have to be the one premium steelbook I actually buy - that's now sold out - and it's bloody damaged!

ZAVVI GGRRRRRRRRRR this will have to be returned!

Thanks for the offer mate but I already thought this was a little overpriced so can't really justify paying even more...now to negotiate for a replacement/refund and return with Zavvi. I hate this bit

EDIT: so annoying, now just staring at the steelbook that could've been...they even used white and didn't cheap out. THEY EVEN USED WHITE

Tempted to never use Zavvi again because of this (at least for steelbooks). Combined with the risk of damage and the duration test that is their returns process...it's just not worth it! Next time I will definitely consider the cost-to-risk ratio before ordering. Damn them and their 'exclusives'.

Theres nothing they could of done about the dent if its behind the j card mate.... opened mine up myself after you said you had a dent and thankfully mines ok sorry to hear yours is damaged rapta. How big is the dent? I know you probably want your cash back but if it was me i would keep it,this is a special steelbook..

Yeah I realise that now - there doesn't seem to be a dent on the J-card so unless it was done from something putting a lot of weight on it at an angle but somehow not denting the J-card then it must've happened in the factory. I would keep it if it was just a ding but it's right across the back - from left to right. Probably the worst damage I've had to a steelbook so far (from what I can remember). I have several steelbooks with minor scratches and a couple with tiny dents and dings but nothing this major...I'm afraid at this price it's gonna have to go back.

Looks like I was never meant to have this one! First it sells out, now I get one and it's damaged. Oh well! There will be blood if this happens again though.

Eh, i'm not going to complain about it, I just find it funny that a) they cancel without notice and b) they send an email as if the order is still active. It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
