All 6 lenti steelbooks in an attractive slipbox (a la "Breaking Bad" collection) and limited to 2,000 - now that would make a nice Christmas present for some lucky person.

Zavvi clearly very savvy as they must know by now that Marvel steelbooks are in a category all their own when it comes to saleability - that they are so desirable that some people will buy the cursed ZBOX / Marvel steelbook bundle for 40 quid JUST to get their hands on the steelbook that they have been led to believe is tied exclusively to the box.
Expect to read a bunch of angry posts from those people when/if "IM" and "CA" lenti steels are released as standalones in a couple of weeks!

what makes it worse is the fact that this seller does not even have any of these pre-orders yet as none of these are even live yet totally taking a risk on selling these even with out actually having them yet View attachment 199569

Looking at them altogether, they all actually look really awful. However, individually I think they look OK. Not great, but better than Zavvi's first attempt. Altogether they all look dull and lifeless. Spot glossing and some nice debossing could be make or break for these.

Also, Sold Out?? WTF. I'll be amazed if there are not a lot of multiple orders of people looking to make a profit off these.

Maybe difficult to picture how they will look in the flesh but the market for Marvel steels is insatiable and manna from heaven for re-sellers and you just have to glance at "Ant-Man', for example, to realise this with copies freely changing hands at the 35 quid level and even up to the 50 quid level.

There's very little margin for profit IMO. They're already waaaaaaay overpriced to begin with!!

I think they have made a lot of these and marking them as 'sold out' is a tactic to prevent more cancelations and to create more orders when they come back in stock after the panic. My guess is the market will be flooded after christmas when scalpers can't shift them for much of a profit. Not enough margin.

I do want one but would rather get GOTG (which isn't limited edition) instead and Pick this up later.

Yeah but it was a cheap *** release with an incredibly badly done Lenticular that didn't even fit the front and with the infamous "Assemble" on it.

Sold mine and don't regret a cent.
