It's just zavvi building up the hype but it won't work this time. I'll wait for a significant price drop before buying.

Looks horribly washed out. Feels like I want to puke... Not looking forward to be highly disappointed when this arrives.

The thing is we can't entirely blame Disney for this as there output with lenticulars outside of their Zavvi partnership has produced some fine results. I'd wager it could be a Disney UK thing.

Does the hammer arm look weirdly out of proportion (too long) as if it's been stretched (unless the dude is supposed to be 7' tall)?
Such a shame though as with a scaled down image matching that on the lenti this would have been an OK lenticular steelbook despite the drabness.
Can't argue with the mock-up though as it is a faithful representation of the product in-hand sans lenti.
Like the back with the runic symbols around the edge of the top of the lump-hammer though accept this would have been an atrocious image transferred to the steelbook front

For me, the front without the lenti is all i like about this release, i think ill stick to my hmv copy. Glad i cancelled.

This is one of the worst from this wave.
I was hoping this would be okay but the Steelbook is a shambles.
The picture is all washed out, you can barely see Thor, his hair is the same colour as the background so he looks see through. The back still looks bad and the inside is so wrong (I can see what they are trying to do but hasn't worked)
The lenti is also awful and does not match up. Seriously think Zavvi need to get out of the lenti game. Or use the same people nova use. Simple

Only okayish thing about this release is the gold embossed title but if I read one person say that warrants £22.49-£24.99 being handed over for this steel then....... Well they are an idiot. Simple as

It has the 2D AND 3D disc, I say that makes a Thor steelbook worth £22.49. So I guess Flloydo must think I'm an idiot.

When the steelbook of Tomorrowland is selling for £23.99, I'd be tempted to say that - relatively - this is good value.

For those that dont have a Thor steelbook i would say this is great value as ebay prices for past releases are awful and this one has a nice front, good movie, 2D and 3D.

For those that already have a few different thor versions, unless you really really want this and your OCD gets the better of you, stay away until its cheaper at least.

How about taking the actual steel into account and not about paying £22.50 for something someone can have for the sake of it because they don't own one!

Im not sticking up for any i bought, if i like any from this wave thats upto me, ive admitted in a past post that this is a stinker for me apart from the front.

The only thing i dont get is why you seem to want to make people feel bad for buying this and liking it. If someone likes this steel its upto them and none of your business, stop jumping on people that say they like it, your opinion isnt valid to anyone but yourself.

I like the front and thats it hense why i didnt buy it (i have the HMV Original), and it is a good price for anyone who has only just started collecting steels and dont have this title in steel or dont have funds before christmas to spend £50+ on a hmv or blufans copy.

Also still can't work out why these are not better, away from gloss the matte varnish finish or image could be much more of a higher standard and they have gone the cheap route AGAIN for a high priced Steelbook and I'm getting sick of it.

There are pictures on here, people can make up their own minds, we dont need you crying in every zavvi thread about how much you hate the release.

My advice to you is wait until you see in hand pics before you buy a steel from zavvi, it might stop you getting confrontational with other members.

Yes they can but I also like to hear from people that actually own the release (any release) plus on here most people make their pictures look special and not a true representation on the actual steel (I've mentioned that before) so half the time your looking at photos that looks nothing like the steel anyway.

Orginally I thought this would sell out and I liked the mock up (even though I knew Zavvi would fake sell out) so that's why I ordered and I usually do wait for in hand photos unless it's release I have to have.
I'm not getting confrontational I'm just saying how it is.

And I'll cry in any thread I want if I don't like the release! Just like the last 3 pages!

I'm not thrilled by the magnet, because the image is smaller is doesn't look right on the steelbook. I'm not a Marvel fanboy either (especially since Disney sunk their teeth into them) but I think this steelbook is decent enough and worth the money. I think it's better than this one...
