If only Taiwan released Thor in steelbook with similar picture slip like CA & IM2, now that would've been a killer and a true grail :scat:

I own a copy of this but I regret not getting a second one when it was available at HMV UK 'cause I thought 19.99GBP was expensive at time but that was during my early days of collecting. :hilarious:

Anyways, this steelbook is a true beauty. :drool:

Prices are rocketing and will even go higher once Thor 2 is released :)

Japan one has an ok-ish micro-slip (well for me at least, not too keen on compact side-slips myself, its like a teaser lol) making it the rarest out of the lot but in all honesty I really do not find it all that but of course wouldn't mind having one in my collection hehe, serisouly though I wouldn't pay the crazy prices for a worldwide release AND 'especially' with tiny weeny looking slip no matter how rare or low quantity the steelbook is, I say it again if Taiwan released one with a pictured slip I would pay triple what Thor JP is going for now.

* Thor (UK/HMV - 2D) Vs (Thailand - 3D)

Love this steelbook in hands looks even much better than in the pictures, but also it is one of the best steelbooks for shooting. I bought my HMV copy about 8 months ago from HDN member for £40 it was unsealed but in absolutely mint condiotion without any dings, scratches or pain chips. At the time I tought it was a high price for this edition, but now when I see what are the prices on ebay I do not regret this decision :) Here is my copy:

There is something special about the OOP/OOS UK Steels even if it lacks in content. Thor HMV, Captain Ameriica HMV MI4 Ghost Protocol Play, Planet of the Apes Play etc. to name a few sell for silly money when there are better versions out there.

Remember seeing this in the Airport for 12 and 25 long time back. No one even bothered to touch it and look at the situation now. You could probably get a round trip Air ticket to Europe from the UK by selling two of these.

This is still the most exspensive I've ever brought at £44 (including postage). I got it used but mint if eBay last August which was just a month after I started collecting- iron man 2 was my first preorder so I then wanted a complete marvel set.

When I look at front I wonder why us this worth so much as its so boring but then I look at back and think wow

yeah really nice steel, the embossing of the lettering is very nicely done and imo is the best movie from the avengers cast apart from Ironman of course.

Madness when I think how easy these were to buy, even when they were OOS online my local HMV had them in stock for months afterwards, I even bought a couple for trades with friends on youtube, then suddenly they were OOS and the prices went crazy

It was also my first 'Avengers' steelbook, so Im glad I went for it over the amaray (it was a blind buy for me as I missed it at the cinema) as it began my now complete Avengers steelbook collection

Great looking Steel-glad to have one, and pretty neat it won 'Steel of Year' on HDN 2011 :scat:
