the title is different here because we already have an the avengers, it was a TV series here in the 60's. so as not to confuse people they called it avengers assembled. but like everyone else i prefer the avengers. anyways back on topic guys and gals.

My local HMV has a copy of this and Captain America. I said I would never double up but I really am starting to consider it now (I already own the normal, non steel versions)

Better get them soon - I see prices starting to creep up for Thor on the secondary market. You might not get a chance to get a copy locally again.

No kidding! Forget the Japanese one and just get one Mike!

Negative. I will wait :p

Good looking out. But I'm a risk taker!!! I shall hold out for Japanese one. It'll be my prized jewel to my collection :D

I just can't bring myself to get this one as I won't love it the same way :hilarious:

But, isn't the steelbook exactly the same in both countries?

Haha sorry to make this thread go off topic. But just to confirm

To the best of my knowledge they're exactly the same. I just like the Japanese slip that wraps around the bottom to the front. And I'll end up paying for it too  I'm a sucker for katakana as I can actually read it!!! :p

But it seems incredible elusive.

For anyone that cares. Keep checking your local HMV. I bought the last one in Carlisle for £13 last week. Just been in now and there are 4/5 more sat there at the same price. One Captain America too but thats priced at £25.

Mine is out of stock but will double check again, it's a no brainier for that price even though I already have one copy right from day one ;)

I was in Worthing HMV yesterday and there is no sign of this in there (just in case that's anyone else's local) and no Super 8 or Captain America either.
I did manage to pick up Machete for £15, pretty sure it was the only one however
