The price for this is climbing rapidly, seen it go for £79 on BIN. I'm sure this will be going for £100+ soon, challenging Star Trek as the UK's highest priced Steelbook.

I was watching an auction that ended today that went for £62 + £3 shipping.

It's getting up there. Even open ones are being listed for over £40.

Watch the new iron man go for these prices when people have in hand that will rocket

The Avengers set are a good bet. Thor is special, but I still say the Incredible Hulk will be the one everyone realises they're missing and get Play's, pushing that into orbit.

Problem about the The Incredible Hulk is that it is not embossed and its horizontal where the others are embossed and vertical.

Just goes to show you you cant predict what the next big thing will be, this was until recently still easy to find, I could have walked into any of the 3 HMV's near me and picked up half a dozen copies in each one, suddenly its OOS and the price is rising, and its not as though it sold out quickly, it was on sale for months after its release. Even more so its puzzling as AFAIK the steelbook was released in a few countries so isnt 'exclusive' like a lot of the futureshop releases which fetch high prices on the secondary market

Yeah I reckon they will go £50-£70 to the end of the year or early 2013

That long? Once Avengers is released, Thor will take off in price, again...IMHO EEK!

How very true...Also, we have to remember, this was never "cheap" to buy, £20 at HMV release I seem to recall. I got an extra copy at the time because I forgot to cancel EEK!
