I'm new to HDN just started collecting so I'm a newbie but I've learned a lot thanks to some nice people in the community.
This was probably addressed but there's so many info I'm totally lost so starting this thread to get your opinion(or once more)
I've purchased Kimchi Exclusive Monsters Inc and University many copies and all the Factory Seals were absolutely flaless.
When I received My Thors, there was 4 Factory seal issue out of 5, break/rips/tears and they came well protected and was so careful removing them from the box when they came in. I've asked around and it seems that many people have had issue with tears/ rips (some major ones) mine are minor and one is half inch long on the side of a 1/4 slip version (it looks like the machine didn't glue at one point and it ripped both ways by being pulled when the shrink wrap was being put on by the machine, making a diamond shape like rip on the side of one... I've seen an inch long rip at bottom of a Lenticular - rip was from the edge going towards the middle and once a 1 to 2 inch round tear oval shape like a small egg at the back of the cover... etc...
so people have been having issue with receiving the Factory Seal damaged straight from the manufacturer which it seems unlikely for a Kimchi Release.
Does anybody know by now what happened with so many who received their steelbook with torn, rips in the Factory seal straight out of the box fresh ???
Any input would be appreciated
