There was no email or anything and everytime I checked this thread there was no clear info on when the group buy would happen and the only answer was soon.

Then all of a sudden with no warning or email to people signed up for uodates lets us know this was going up for sale.. Your group buy sucks and screw this site. Im done with it! You suck at giving customers a fair update and a better heads up. You suck!

Not fair against HDN and the people here providing this opportunity for us to react with this kind of childish behaviour @Alf_1. The group buy window (a 3-hour window) was announced a day or two before in this thread. Most of us had no problem getting that info, it was even updated in the first post with different time zones etc. But in the end you have to make some kind of effort yourself to stay updated!

So no, there was not a good heads up like how about letting members know 2 weeks to 30 days ahead when the a group buy will be live and not a a day before or whenever they told this thread is bull crap!

If you'd bothered to read up on the most recent pages it was right there. Thursday there was visible activity from cooey and others as to the impending buy and then he anmounced the window himself that day and it was totally added to the main OP. Everything said indicates this thread had relatively few people miss out. Good news is you can always hit up eBay! Until then, buh-bye!

Like i said to give a day heads up is horrible and that is not acting childish being upset when clealry it is better to give a reasonable update like a week or 2 in advance when it will go live and not a day before... Not everyone can check this thread every single day like some here and it should at least give a week heads up... I checked twice in the beginning of the week and it still said TBA and nothing was mentioned it will go live Friday..

Its about giving the proper amount of time to update all your HDN members and not just the members that stalk your site!!!!

GBs can happen on quite short notice, usually a few days. It’s not only up to hosts when it can go live, they must get approval and quantities etc. Usually GBs start short time after beauty shots are released, which is what it also did with this. Of course, if you are offline for several days you risk missing out. You have to be responsible to keep up and stay informed. If there is a title I needed to have, I would briefly check the thread daily for potential updates. Otherwise you can only blame yourself.

GBs on here are very well run by dedicated people who also have jobs and you've been here 5 minutes and want to slate them. You should take a step back and have some perspective. It's a steel book at the end of the day. No one has died.

Exactly Thursday is whack to tell your members and a better heads up should be given.. cooey no offense, but that is horrible to tell members a day before. A better system should be done by telling members earlier so members that dont have time to check the thread every single day can have a chance when they still

I check the thread at least twice a week and couldnt log on Thursday... If they were considerate at HDN they would send out emails to members that can sign up with interest that they want to buy this item and then when HDN has a date they can in a timely manner send emails to those members letting all members that want to try to buy it a more fair chance because telling your members last minute; a day before is very unprofessional! Of course the obssessed stalker members that come here everyday was going to see the info, but not everyone can come everyday, so to give a one day heads up is flat out inconsiderate!

Even though we all appreciate HDN doing a group buy, the unclear info on when the Group buy will be is what is disappointing! And when they gave the Group Buy time it was not considering all HDN members that might not see that anouncement the day before is in a way Cold hearted to do a group buy this way..

When I host something in my experience I always give the other parties that are interested all a fair heads up in a timely manner. Not this one day heads up is whack..

So, basically OCD stalkers on this thread checking every hour on the hour got to purchase it as well as the Scalper stalkers got it... Thanks for a bad heads up!

Not being funny mate, but if this meant so much to you, wouldn’t it be wise to keep checking the thread every day? That’s what I had to do when it was closer to release date.

A quick 5-10 mins during your lunch break, after work, just to see what’s going on. You can usually get a sense when the GB will go live.

No point sulking over it, just learn to deal with it next time.

No one bent your arm or held a gun to your head. Checking the thread isn't some complete drag dude, have it open in a tab on your phones browser and refresh daily. I mean literally. Two clicks and you're up to date. Long story short, you basically didn't want it enough, because even my noob ass that had never done a GB like this before managed to snag the more limited single lenti. Sorry Charlie, but better luck next time.
