Yes, the vertical silver slash mid artwork is clearly visible on the poster along with the other thin silver outlines and clearly part of his armour shining through the red mist:-

Curious to see if it shows up to the same extent on the U.S. steelbook.

The problem with it is how it's come out on the steelbooks. With the "grain" of the steelbook along with this line, in hand it looks like a scratch and while it is his armour showing through, you can't see the other parts of it as clearly on a small steelbook as you can on a large clear poster.

Considering the liberties taken with other artwork, it would have been very easy to remove that for the steelbook as it would have been evident it doesn't work very well on this medium when they had some proofs which I would assume they get?

Anyway, it's only a small thing. Other than that I do like it. Just a shame the US version spanks it a bit.

So it's same gloss as NA just without the 'bossing on the title?

From what I've seen, the NA release looks like it has richer colours with a glossier finish. Could just be the pictures but I think there is actually a difference.

Definitely one of the lesser Marvel steels. I'm getting a 'cheap' vibe every time I look at it. The spine in particular.

Yes, you're not wrong about the majority of the silver outlines of the armour that can be seen in the zoomed-in poster and apart from the vertical silver slash at stomach level you can really only see a small silver horizontal slash under his arm on the steelbook . . . other silver outlines appear hidden by the red "mist".
No, I don't know why they didn't just paint them all out for the steelbook . . . can see these two silver slashes causing headaches for re-sellers as they explain to buyers that "No, the steelbook does not have two scratches on the front . . . the scratches are part of the design". Maybe best to include this fact in the listings!

Waiting for decent pics/unboxings of the U.S. steelbook to see if the "marks" are as noticeable. I suspect that they won't be due to what I believe is a thicker coating and no metallic reflections on that edition.

Anyway, unpacked mine today . . . really, really pleasing steelbook . . . mainly thanks to the amazing metallic reflections in that enveloping mist cloud . . . a wonder to behold . . . with just a twist of the wrist you get dull to vibrant artwork and back again . . . almost as if Thor is not just surrounded by the red/orange mist but is part of it.
Great action pose too.

Watched last night and my opinion on the film hasn't changed upon a second viewing (doesn't take itself seriously enough/too many gags) however what I was really disappointed in was the 4K disc itself, nowhere near as nice on the eye as the GOTG Vol 2 and Spiderman Homecoming UHD releases :(

Really? I haven’t opened mine yet as i’m not at home for a few days but I was expecting this movie to really pop in 4K (n)

You in the UK? Weather could be playing a part in it getting to you.....
I was given that excuse by the Royal Mail for a delayed parcel in the run up to Christmas. Trouble was, their own tracking system clearly showed that my local delivery office - barely 1.5 miles away from my house - had received it on schedule, but had sat on it for a few days for some unknown reason (I was receiving other post each day in the meantime)! My own postie admitted he was aware of parcels being left on a shelf in their office instead of being put in the pile for delivery...
