i ordered from this one.

You can easily see whether a steelbook is the HK version by looking at the name of the movie. If it has Chinese text on the end it will be the HK version. If it only has English then it most likely is a US import.

I had no problem getting mine. There does seem to be stock but I've read some shops are charging very high prices. Since they've come back in stock at HMV you're better off telling your friend to go there.

Matte finish with metallic shine. Probably the hardest version that I had to track down, but got there.
