Thanks to KevinM for securing me my copy :)

No numbering from what I've looked at

Is the blu ray amaray box bigger than the average amaray? E.g. Is it thicker than usual?

Mine's finally dispatched, but I'm a little confused by the price... they've charged me the original price of £44.99, but didn't the price drop to around £40 at one point? I pre-ordered it on day one, yet in my dispatch email they state "Pre-order Guarantee: -£0.00". Surely that should say £4.99, or am I missing something here?

Haha panic over then. God knows where I got the idea from that the price had dropped... this head cold is really messing with my brain!

Thanks for confirming guys. :)

[EDIT] I've figured it out! The second order I made for DB only came to around £40, which is probably what led me to believe the price had dropped, but that's because she didn't get charged VAT... only just spotted that now. :p

Mine arrived at my parents address earlier on this morning but as I'm working from home today I won't be able to see this beauty, will have to wait until tomorrow evening now

I agree Amazon was a bit off with promoting it as limited to 1000 copies. No way of knowing if they made 1000 or 2000 with no numbers on them...

I see "they" have started already...There is one up for sale on Amazon for £95 EEK!

On the positive side, he does say in his listing that he will refund the (£1.26) postage charge...Ahhh, bless :)

Don't ya just love rip-off merchants with a conscience :D

No offence but that's a stupid argument. same could apply for anything. play said iron man was limited to 4000, but none were numbered, yet no one questions that. Hell even if they printed numbers on them you could never be sure, no one's ever lined up each copy of a numbered edition have they :p

gotta say i adore the extras, as in the newspaper, titanic diagram, menu etc. but think the book is kinda crap, just full of stills from the movie =/

pics coming soon...unless someone beats me to it.

Perhaps no one questioned it because it was a Play exclusive. This edition is released all over the place so unless there is a distinct way of separating them how will you know it is a UK release and not a Scandinavian?

Here are some pics. sorry for the AWFUL quality. Dont have a good camera available.

IMAG1157.jpg
every page are just stills from the movie
IMAG1159.jpg
Newspaper is nice, with each article readable, with images.
IMAG1160.jpg
Problem is though, the paper was folded down to A5 which is a shame.
IMAG1161.jpg
The brochure is Pretty cool, one side showing off various rooms, 2nd class smoke room, etc
IMAG1162.jpg
The over is a diagram of the whole ship, showing each section. with stats below, eg the ships size weight etc.
IMAG1163.jpg
passenger list, nice too. it's a good 20+ pages. with each passenger name , in order of name and class. also has the titanics schedule...had it not sunk.
