They make new art for a steelbook, people complain, they use an original poster, people complain. There's no winning.
They've used the original art but messed up the composition, their faces shouldn't be directly over the bottom scene (especially with that arch overlapping Kelly), on the original poster that gap is filled by the film title and the layout works a lot better to my eye. I still think it looks decent though just an odd change for the worse.

A very quick bodged version:

Looking closely the change in the layout looks like someone has had to redraw all the stuff not visible on the left from the poster, Grant's ear looks a bit suspect (too brightly lit, wrong perspective) along with the way the lightbeams look all the way to the left.

So they kinda made new art using original poster.

The changes are all reasonable; the original art is a bit busy and I can see why they didn’t want Cary Grant’s head cut off or that big box partially obscuring Grace Kelly. The only thing I find a bit odd - and I didn’t notice it at first - is that the poster artwork stops in a weird spot leaving a blue bar (sort of) at the top, which appears to be slightly lower on the right side than the left.

But it still looks great.

That's the quick edit from @sbarker

;)

I think the top bit is one of the nicer additions they made to the art but whenever I look closely it's hard to ignore some of the things they botched, look at Grant's neckline, because of that it really looks like someone cut his head out and it's a bit of clip art added in now. Best not to think too much about it.
