I knew there was a very good chance that Arrow would do To Live And Die In LA. Didn't get the Kino release for this reason. So very happy at this news. Hopefully it will be a limited edition Arrow box set with the original poster art and new extras as well. Considering their new 4K of Cruising had new features and the box treatment. Wishing the same for Thief and Mona Lisa as well. Excellent news.

Saw this film during its theatrical release. I was completely blown away by this movie.

A really nice steel for this outstanding cinematic entertainment would be a welcome addition!!!

As for Kino, they did give us Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, so they get my respect for that.

Soylent green and hush look great. This and falling down look boring.

I’ll defo be picking up Soyent and hush in a sale in 5/6 months time

Yup, definitely waiting for a sale as well. Massive ball drop from Arrow on this one. I was really up for this announcement today and just disappointed now.

I think they've missed the boat several times in their recent output. It's not the first time.

I'd say Audition and Falling Down might also have been treated to the larger Slipbox treatment as well.
Maybe they view the accumulated extras, both old and the potential new ones, as a benchmark for that higher prestige release mark ?
I'd don't know how it gets decided. Just can't figure out why these three are missing out.

Even Hush has a bigger set of extras and discs but still only has a limited slipcover release. No big box.
Odd. Not sure of the dynamics within Arrow for making these decisions. Bewildering tbh.

I think maybe the Stranger Things extravaganza might have something to do with the lack of larger Slipbox releases in the coming months. It may continue for a while in these smaller formats because of that perhaps.
