Are we all forgetting True Lies??

Needs to be released on Blu-Ray first. It's hard to imagine how movies like Another Stakeout gets a blu-ray release but not True Lies. Maybe they're just waiting for the right time marketing wise? Or when they're able to do a quality transfer? I think it'll get released eventually.

As far as this new TR steel, I might get it depending on the art work. Total Recall is one of my favorite movies, but I already have the French version.

I'm really intrigued by the specs on this... I hope it's going to get the special edition treatment it deserves!

I noticed HMV had a pre-order up yesterday for £25.99, but it didn't state it was a steelbook

Sorry to double post, but it's also available at Sainsbury's for the lowest price yet!

Here's a roundup...

HMV - £24.00
Zavvi - £19.95
Play - £17.99
Sainsbury's - £15.99

I'll probably wait for it to go up on Amazon, as they'll more than likely price match Sainsbury's anyway. :D

just saw this over at Blu-ray.com news page for the upcoming US release. fingers crossed it's the same

This summer, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release a new "Mind-Bending Edition" of Total Recall in order to coincide with the upcoming theatrical remake. Director Paul Verhoeven's graphically violent and darkly funny adaptation of the Philip K. Dick short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" stars Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator) as Doug Quaid, an average guy who is deeply unsatisfied with his normal life.

Despite having a good job and a loving wife (Sharon Stone, Basic Instinct), Quaid goes through his days dreaming of grand adventures, and he gets his chance to experience such desires when he visits Rekall, a corporation that specializes in custom memory implants.

However, during his programming session, something goes wrong, and Quaid finds himself launched into a world of intergalactic espionage, a world where Quaid can trust no one, where he alone can unite a rebel force against the villainous developer Cohaagen (Ronny Cox, RoboCop), and where all the answers seem to lie with an ancient Martian civilization.

While Lionsgate has yet to detail the technical specifications for the Mind-Bending Edition, the Blu-ray boasts a new, director-supervised transfer - taken from the original negative - as well as supplementary materials that include:

Commentary with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Paul Verhoeven
