The artwork for amarays is shorter than the artwork for slipcovers, due to the blue top of the case not being on the slip.

True but it seems very unusual to me to not just show the case in the mock-up then. Afaik that's the norm.

I've seen it on occasion. Most recently the Saw collection and Witness for the Prosecution. They just included the artwork with the case.
