Oh no that's no good, that's right around the time for the end of the world.
I'm going to build a bunker in my back yard and load it up with as much food and water and STEELBOOKS as I possibly can. I just hope that I'll get this steelbook in my hands before 12/21/2012 so I can take it down there with me.

Yeah..the window between theatrical and home video release has closed to roughly 3-4 months. This is the standard now. Movie is released in Aug in the states, and international release dates vary-since piracy and a variety of other mediums that compete with physical disc, seeing pre-orders this early is now common. Retailers put up pre-orders very early internationally because the international market accounts for a HUGE amount of hype and studio revenue. We'll continue to see this...

I hear it's going to be a PG which sucks, seriously trying to cream as much cash as possible. I also saw the new trailer, glad they got the lady with 3 tits but bet we don't get a close up!
Just a note to everyone complaining about the studios ruining their favorite movies:
You don't have to go to or buy the remakes. We, the customers, are the ones that decide what the studios put money into by either going or not going to see a movie.
