the original total recall was great one of my favs got the steelbook for it but i dont know if the remake will be as good only time will tell

Just a note to everyone complaining about the studios ruining their favorite movies:
You don't have to go to or buy the remakes. We, the sutomers, are the ones that decide what the studios put money into by either going or not going to see a movie.

The 'reimagining' made me appreciate Arnie's version all the more. This was a decent enough action flick, that suffered from a lack of originality and stood in the shadow of the original. It gains a point for having a United Federation of Britain though (its always nice to see a movie that isn't set in the US, on Hollywood's doorstep). I'm not sure that even a pretty steelbook would tempt me to buy it, but I'm sure lots of people will!

I saw this at the cinema the other day and really enjoyed it, good film. Arnies is good also but in a different way the films aren't really anything alike as such apart from names etc. and certain points in the film.
