It appears amazon.fr have finally managed to separate the steelbook and amaray versions of this release. Amazon.es had been selling the steelbook listed as 'Total Recall FR', but this is the first time I've seen it correctly listed on .fr.

Got this one myself a few months back, definitely one of my favourites.

Great news on this title, now if only they would do the same for Pulp Fiction, I would buy, especially as I was 'unlucky' and sent an amray

I do. It's G2, region free, but it doesn't say anything about cut or uncut

I don't think there is a completely uncut release, as the uncut X-Rated version was never shown at the cinema. However the French release is the same as the version shown at the cinema. The only cut steelbook version I'm aware of is the German one without the 18 FSK sticker.

I'll check it out tonight but i can almost guarentee that they are not forced cause the disc contains several subtitles. I even think it is the same steelbook as the German and Dutch. I received my French steelbook a week ago from Amazon.fr.

no forced subtitles on this one. The disc loads and it asks you for your country.
