I must be in a minority because I actually really like them. They display nicely because they still have spines, but just a picture for the actual steel cover is nice. I really like the new marvel ones and would be quite happy to not have any cover text ever again.

Why in the world were we given uniform artwork for Toy Story 1-3 steelbooks which mirrored the poster art, only to be given this monstrosity?

Cancelled my order - Not paying a premium price for a product with such p*ss poor artwork - its almost as if the steelbook designers don't understand what collectors like in a lot of instances....

Here's hoping we get a WEA edition with artwork that matches the first three releases....

As this also includes 4K, I guess that's why they kept up this design. Purely for the 4K completists!

Well I wouldn't worry about this not matching the current design. It's Disney we are talking about, they will probably rerelease it again next year and same as they do with the standard dvds/blu rays with a pixar slip cover and likely what they will do with this on 4k as well

Ugh, should've known they'd be lazy and just use those character/teaser posters. Also, brown is the last colour I'd associate with Toy Story! Hopefully we'll see a more vibrant looking release appear elsewhere.

Yes, despite not being in the same naive style as 1 - 3 and with larger artwork necessitating missing overhead iconic title and an unattractive backdrop I'd say it's not a bad match to its siblings and could be said to come from the same family and not found abandoned on the doorstep:-

Zavvi have uploaded artwork for 3D edition on their website

4K steelbook artwork will be uploaded at some stage on zavvi website only difference is discs and Jcard

I'm just holding on that Zavvi will continue the Pixar / Disney steelbook line and will do re-releases of the ones that got awful, titleless artwork. Good Dinosaur, Inside Out, Finding Dory, Toy Story 4 etc
