A couple of pictures from the Trainspotting steelbook I got a month ago on Zavvi for €8.75.

It feels empty inside, and I'm gonna have to buy the French BR because I don't like subtitles for hard-of-hearing and that's all there is here (and for this particular film it's not like I can understand all that some of these characters say without subtitles), but I couldn't pass on this steelbook for that price. The front does look great.

this is a great example of the brushed metal finish working really well. got this and the german release, both great steelbooks, in my opinion!

It had me gagging the first time I ever watched it (think I was about 12). Years later I discovered that the faeces was actually made of chocolate and the toilet apparently smelt quite pleasant... bearing that bit of info in mind definitely helps when rewatching it.

Caught the end of this on Film4 last night and realised I don't have it on BD even though I watched this many times in my youth. It's still a great watch today.

Now that a sequel with the original cast has been confirmed, I wonder if this will get a better re-release.

I'd love if this film got the works (full slip, booklet, some cards etc...) but I might have to hunt this one down in the meantime. Not sure I want to if the Blu Ray disc has playback issues as mentioned in this thread though.
