That's exactly what I'm wondering. I have this and allready seen the movie. Didn't see or hear anything wrong though...

There's a short review dated December 30: The user "cdpanic" rates the video quality 1/10: "DVD quality". Probably this might be the problem, as earlier reviews do not contain complaints regarding the video quality..?

As I received my copy like 10 days ago, I will have a look at it right now.

Well, quality of discs may vary, perhaps they've recently produced a new batch.

I just compared my version to other blu-rays and I would not say that the quality of my disc is "reference", pretty 'grainy', imo. I'm not disappointed, but would neither call it 'reference'. So, maybe this might be the reason of the issue.

well dont no then, as on my equipment definately looks and sounds pretty reference to me woulden't say was grainy at all and BD.com also states 5 star PQ and AQ.

I read that it was just a problem with the link or code provided for the Digital Copy (which they fixed now!)! But not 100% sure...

DVD is usually region lock. google up your dvd player as there should be a remote hack to change it. If not, you can get a region-free DVD for $20 LOL....the price less than a steelbook Check craigslist as you can probably find one for $5 or free.

If I'm already placing an order at amazon.de, would I be a fool not to include this with it? I'm not a fan the Transformers series, but think the steel looks great. I would only be getting it for the collectable aspect.

I'd say it's a must buy for the steelbook alone so yeah grab yourself a copy if you can you will not be disappointed

Yeah i'm in the same boat but still waiting. It's been stuck at 27.99 which seems like forever.

I personally would pull at the 15 area... why is it so high? No 3d disc right? With the 1st one from play reserved and if this one drops it would be my third dip on the series
