This artwork imo is one of the nicest i have ever seen for a steelbook, and gloss is just wow!
In some ways i hope the Zavvi one can live up to the FS one, but i also don't want it to because that means i will have to get the FS one and i really want to

yep DOTM is matte. german one still beats it so this will def be matte too

Theres still a slim chance zavvi realize no point really in doin anything special for DOTM, as its readily available elsewhere with better content, but that it IS worthwhile putting gloss on Revenge - as the FS one is much harder 2 find and rare? (trying to be nice to zavvi)

Also zavvi edition appears 2 have better inside art & ofc no blu ray banner is also a big plus for many. indeed, maybe theres some small hope that zavvi realize that by putting at least spot-gloss on this they have a dam good opportunity to upstage the original, like how play.com did with their mighty Iron Man? :bow:

Either way, i dont care. I have DOTM from germany, and if ROTF is matte, meh. I like my steelbooks either way

Ah well, my DotM already shipped so let this one go through as well. Have the Japanese digipacks but it'll be nice to have steels for these as well, matte or not.

Think Paramount has changed their policies to do either matte or zero finish. Looks like Warner and Fox influenced them.

Wreck did mention recently that there is a reason why most new Steelbooks have matt finishes but didn't elaborate why.
