This needs to be exactly like the FS version but with no blu banner, embossed border and title. It would match perfectly with TF1 UK and TF3 DE and being a paramount release it will no doubt have a nice finish. And I think all(well most) would be happy.

Zavvi may be pumping them out at a ridiculous rate but I can always count on them bringing out a steel that I need for the collection.

i personally don't see the point in repetition. they could create something similar with the new art and approach. tons of transformers to print half face on the front. and it will match your collection.

Hmm...

2012 - number of Play.com exclusives - 59
2013 - number of Zavvi exclusives - 49 (including these new titles and all rumoured titles posted by Wreck)

Would rather have less releases with better quality than the mass with none really standing above the rest and with appropriate content. For example many proclaim Finding Nemo to be the best from Zavvi this yr. I honestly thought it was average compared to the north American vmb's. I find the German nemo steelbook more attractive as a package. I quite honestly can't remember a Zavvi release with multiple discs. I reluctantly purchase the Disney titles knowing very well a north american release would not be bare bones as the UK ones.

While I'm not a fan of the Transformers movies (I have yet to even see Dark of the Moon) I would like to own these movies in steelbook for some reason. I know, pretty stupid if I don't care for the movies that much, but I just feel like I need to own these in steelbook. I currently don't own a single one yet.

The FutureShop release is one of my all time favourite releases. They better not stray into that territory.

Something to match the Play UK TF1 release would be good. With the right side of the Fallen's face would be ideal.

I doubt they are going to create new art for this so for it to match it has to be either the FS cover or the one posted above with the black background...w/ no banner and embossed title

FS edition isnt all that imo - ok but not great art, no proper inside art i think and no embossing either.

....Zavvi edition could be better if they put a little effort into it, like say play.com did with Watchmen :movie:

Once again... didn't mean to "thanks" your post.

I meant to quote it and say that UK doesn't ever litter the back with text.

untrue - most recent (that I'm aware of) with printed text on the rear were Cars 2 and POTC 4 steels

The printed text on the rear is becoming more and more the rarity though

Just because we've had them in the past doesn't mean we will ever have them again. No UK distributor releases Steelbooks with printed backs. The last to do so was Second Sight, but they quickly learned. Disney have seen the error of their ways too, printed backs are a thing of the past for us UK folk.
