These M'fers really are too stupid too make matching spines... Why on earth would you print the front cover on the top of the spine - i mean at all, but especially if the others didn't have that (they have it on the bottom, covered by the j card). And especially since the front covers do match. I guess one more reason to not buy this, the movie was trash anyway and I'm not that much of a completionist when the movie is crap.

Can always count on Di$ney to mess up a "matching" set. Time to get the black sharpie out!

One thing that only just dawned on me, why would you bother rendering a beard onto a digitally created entity. I mean, you don't really care when you make a super-soldier, it's not like going into the player creation in a game like Cyberpunk 2077 is it?

Actually, scratch that - I don't want the tech bros getting ideas and killing us all off with AI-powered waifus...

I pre-ordered the steel, watched the movie, and then cancelled the steel all within the space of 24 hours. Can’t say I was expecting much from it anyway after the underwhelming trailers, but I was hoping I’d at least like a single character, or even just the soundtrack which ended up being some of NIN’s weakest work imho. Only positives for me were that the few grid scenes looked incredible and the whole Jeff Bridges part finally gave it some much needed (believable) heart. Other than that it was garbage and an unnecessary stepping stone to the sequel fans actually wanted but will most likely never get now. Yet another reason for me to dislike Jared Leto even more than I already did :wtf:

If the first movie was Flynn vs. Dillinger, and the second one was Flynns vs. their own creations, then it makes sense that the third would be Dillingers vs. their own creations, and then a final film for the final Flynn vs. Dillinger, which is what was set up but probably won't ever happen. I do agree that Ares is the weakest of the three, but I can see where it logically fits in, as long as there's the fourth and final part.
