It makes sense they'd keep the design style used on the earlier steels but that floating head design with 3 out of 4 actors who are basically box office repellant dominating the cover is a bit of an oof. I would love to know who Leto has dirt on to keep landing these lead roles.
I watched it at the weekend and thought it was OK. Not as good as legacy but not bad. I thought let was better than I was expecting as well
It only takes 119 minutes to form your own opinion. I liked it a lot, and I hope for a fourth movie which would complete the saga.

Ares is not on the level of the first two films, but I went in with low expectations and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. IMAX 3D certainly added to the experience, so I don't know how we'll it'll transfer to home viewing.
Alien Earth TV Series is pretty bad, I also never liked the Aliens movie other than the first 2
BUT PROMETHEUS is actually really good, I’ve seen it many times it’s a good one actually, but the sequel to Prometheus, Alien Covenant is really bad.
I would check out Prometheus but don’t view it as an alien sequel, it’s hard to explain but the film sits well on its own.
I loved the Prometheus . . . trailer. But then I didn't care for the film at all. Didn't watch the rest of the sequel-prequels. I only watched Prometheus once, though, so maybe I'd like it better now that I've become refined with age, what.
The face collage does not work for me on this one... would have been fine with the regular 4K design.
Same for me. Having all three matching would be great, but this one really feels rushed. It also has that problem of an odd amount of empty space at the top. The vertical light cycle poster would make a great steel, or part of a premium edition. Now I'm thinking I might keep the original steels for the first two movies, sell the 4k steels, and wait for a better Ares option.

Though, I actually quite liked it, not a part of the anti Leto brigade & he certainly wasn’t the issue unless you listen to gossip.
They took it somewhere new, which was teased at the end of Legacy but didn’t really go anywhere amazing with it.
Shame, as it’s probably the end of line for the series.
