I'm also in this situation. However, I had to use Google translate so I hope they can resort this issue out because they also just shipped out the Green Hornet Steelbook so I don't want them both to get lost.

the only bad thing about them is their packaging ,it's really lame and sometimes if they ship individual items, they get to you damaged, i just try to buy stuff in more than one item, the more, their packaging is better, in my experience with them, i have been buying from them for more than a year and i'm ok with their system.

Do what I do. Take plenty of photographs of the damaged Steelbook, cover your arse so to speak.

Ok they just replied stating that they will just issue me a refund, and that if I still wish to receive the Steelbook that I should just re-order it. Lol...I guess I'll just order another one. Anyone from the Group Buy have one they want to sell??


~~Good news!! Tron just arrived, and there is some pretty nasty dings in it. None around the edges though so I'm confident that I can do some surgery to fix them. One problem though...the stupid sticker that I usually hate left some nasty white residue around the box, and I'm afraid that it damaged the artwork. I'm hoping some alcohol wipes can correct this, but I'm not sure.

Probably not - it's the sticky stuff that it left behind. Whatever you do - don't use goo gone, it'll wreck your finish on the steelbook. Some people have recommended butter and other natural things like that.

is been almost two weeks since i supposed to receive this one and nothing, i contacted amazon.de and they sent another one right away, i'm so happy with their customer service but i don't know what happened since this is the first time an order gets missing; i thought that was because of the ashes, but it's been a while now, oh well....

i got my replacement today, the original order never arrived, that's so strange coz this never happened before in more than 1 year i have been customer of amazon.de; anyways, the steelbook is gorgeous i can believe it, i just love it, thank god it arrived in a great condition.

My replacement arrived from amazon, in perfect condition. I decided to dump the DC and change the frame. Me thinks it looks neater as a 2 disc affair.

Not sure - it dropped to 21,69 on 7/9 and 2 days later, they are @ 19,99 euro.

My guess a lot of folks will bite at that price. With VAT reduction, and before shipping - that's what...maybe $24? Pretty darn cheap for the 3D version...

I tried checking the stock numbers, but it lets me add the total to my cart... :eek:

You were indeed lucky. In a similar incident they refused to lower the price last year.

believe it or not i just got my order i supposed to get in the middle of june since i didn't know what was it i opened it and now the postal won't accept it for a send back to senderm now i have to contact amazon.de to see if they will pay for pstage since was not my fault ...how wired is this..talking about a month and a half later

well...this is why i love the customer service from amazon.de, they wrote me back and they said due to the expensiveness of the returning for shipping i could keep the original order and to do what it best suits me ahhhhhhhhhh
