Only issue with this release is 16-bit DTS-HD MA instead of 24-bit which was featured on the US / UK releases.

right i didn't know that is there much difference between the 16-bit and 24-bit audio track i know the higher the bit the better the sound will be. is there any other blu-rays that are 16-bit or is there anyway to find out which are.

Zavvi will release a Steelbook for Tron (1982 Movie), not for Tron Legacy...
So it is NOT a rerelease from them! At least as far as i know

Oh, the one shown in the Pictures some posts above is not a rerelease... possibly some old stock as it is possibly the switzerland release (no green FSK Logo on the bottom left of the J-Card!)

Thanks redlemon, it is a beauty and one missed out on has I wasn't a collector but once I'd seen the pictures on here from others I had get it for myself. I also hope zavvi's tron steelbook is also a beauty and nice and vibrant and matches this one.

That is such a friggin awesome steel, so gutted I wasn't as into steelbooks at the time that came out, never even crossed my mind other countries did them? I did order the US set were the disks came in that tacky plastic case with the display stand but I sent it back when it reached customs after I saw some unboxing videos. I SO NEED THIS!

They had this available for over 1 year in my local store. They are sold out now but i think it shouldn´t be to hard to find a affordable one!

Thanks Sabertooth, the main reason i set my sights on owning this was because just after I'd joined I saw chipvideo's picture's he had posted a while back. It just took time to get hold of it has it was none stop with steelbook release's over christmas.

and yes not a single slip in sight, I hate the bloody things. Once I've opened the steelbooks the slips are put in a shoebox in the cupboard (still can't bring myself to throw them away like a friend of mine does).

Yeah its certainly one of the most gorgeous steels i own and i heard there's a possible Tron Legacy squeal in the works too
