Did we get ratings labels plastered all over the slipcover like the UK edition? And did we get the matching disc art as well?

Haven't opened yet so can't comment on the disc art, but the ratings logo is on the bottom left corner of the slip. Not as large as I've seen on some other releases. It does seem to be region B locked though, or so it says on the back.

Mine had about 10-15 copies too.
I think the price point is a little high for the average buyer. They even had the normal version near by for $10 cheaper...

Seeing as both of you from the West, may be its a Western thing? I checked couple of stores in Toronto east. Neither had that many.
I agree about the price though. If you compare Arrow S2 Futureshop exclusive, it was $44 I think. And that had 22 episodes. So in terms of content, this has much less but cost more? So may be this will go on sale pretty soon...

I was also surprised to see that Best Buy was carrying the steelbooks U.S. Best Buy were selling for $10-15 (including Wolf of Wall Street).

In regards to the price, it seems like all HBO home media releases are always ridiculously overpriced.

TV shows always have an uphill battle as steelbooks, IMO

My bet is we won't see a SteelBook release for season 2 but since HBO signed Nic P to a new deal, season 3 and beyond might be a reality.
