That's not actually true...I've seen GBs for UHD Club releases on other forums and on Facebook, some of which don't have to have them sent to the UK before sending out to other parts of the world.
Yes thats true, however I'm talking about on this forum. We have been approved to host them since we work with them.
I didn't say they did...I said that they don't have to have them sent to the UK first...
They can't send them anywhere directly anymore. New laws. They can't ship outside of China. So a forwarding company in China has to be used. So regardless of where you live, or what Group buy host you go with, the shipping costs are always going to be a bit higher. There's no difference.
I know...I don't remember disputing that so I'm not sure why you're labouring the point. All I was pointing out is that some of the other GBs have hubs outside of the UK and so don't incur the additional cost of having it sent from China to the UK to the US (for example).
Ah yes. I see your point. Unfortunately t all hosts have to send the items around the world. So a US host may have UK customers and Vice versa. There isn't one who strictly ships to USA residents only. But if there are US customers on this forum they can seek out another forum that has a US host
I was tempted by these as I skipped the HD Zeta ones, but I still can't really decide if wood is actually something premium or something cheap. I wish they had done something more similar to the Jurassic Park set they did. Also I have no idea what it is in the pictures, maybe slipcases for the digipack? But that cartoonish artwork is awful and doesn't belong anywhere near sets like these. At least they have used the classic artwork on the front of the boxes though.
Important update
The Wooden Boxes of the Middle Earth Saga will receive multiple upgrades. Compared to previous Wooden Box releases, the upgraded Wooden Chests will have higher quality, richer details, and even more premium aesthetics
A replica of a tungsten steel the One Ring vacuum plated with 18K gold will be included in the Fellowship of the Rings Wooden Box as an additional bonus.
A replica of Sting wielded by Frodo will be included in The Two Towers Wooden Box as an additional bonus.
A replica of Andúril wielded by Aragon will be included in The Return of the King Wooden Box as an additional bonus.
The Wooden Box and the contents contained within will receive further improvement in their production quality. The coatings of the paint have been increased to eight from five and only the highest quality paint has been applied to the Wooden Boxes. The factory that produces UHD Club contents use premium production material and methods and their customers include multiple luxury brands such as Rolls Royce.
These will be the BEST Wooden Boxsets that UHD Club have produced and we cannot wait for you to see them.

Believe me, their wood boxes are A LOT better than those. Only downside (for some) is no steel.
