UK Warner Classic Steelbook

Hi Everyone,

I was just curious if anyone else will be picking up some of these classics being released at the end of January.

For me so far I am only getting:
Ben Hur
Casablanca
Gone With The Wind

But may end up with some more later on. I really do wish there was some more infos on back and possible inside art.

The previous white wave was a little underwhelming regarding artwork but at least Warner had rear / inside art too so there is good hope for this wave

Like you I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully one of the retailers will list some additional art soon

I let the white wave pass me by from the UK release but I did get the white ones from Japan.

I believe they were Batman, Dark Knight, Matrix, Seven, and Blade Runner

I might go in for a few of the white UK ones later on

not having the three I mentioned on Blu-ray or even DVD,, this wave if done right will suit my needs

I'm interested in this wave, especially The Treasure of The Sierra Madre but I'm going to wait it out till we see customer photographs.

Didn't order Gone with the Wind as I have the CA one, and also wasn't interested in Jazz Singer, Grand Hotel or Doctor Zhivago.

But the rest, hell yeah.

An easy pass for me, none I like tbh...

tbh I think that some Studios are taking the p*** releasing 10 steelbooks on a single day. Whilst with 2 possibly 3 exceptions most are going to be hanging around for a while therefore the Studios could spread the releases over 3 months. The obvious reason not to is that once they have sold sufficient in one country they'll just move on to another. Personally I think it's marketing suicide, sole exception is Ben Hur.

well I added North by Northwest so that makes 4 that I am getting after Looper went to Amazon the shipping and removal of VAT savings made adding that one almost flush
