I think this is bad news for steelbook collectors if amazon.de are always going to reprint steelbooks they will not be very limited edition i have placed an order tho i dont think still it will be us good us the original release there will be something different which makes the original stand out.

Nope - I got my copy from amazon.de - it might have been their exclusive, I can't recall.

Well, if there is a bright side to the current situation - they've limited it to 3 per customer right off the bat.

Supposedly there are only 98 left, but that's the same number I get for the 999 trick for just about everything now.

By the way, release date is now May 5, 2011.

as it says now Amazon excl. I think it will be only available @ amazon.de or maybe also here in Austria/Switzerland in MM/Saturn.

Hope it is different than first release

If it's identical to the first release, I'll keep my order. If the FSK logo is printed on the steel, I'll cancel. I can live with it being printed on the slip if it comes with one.

i paid £69 for my copy about a month ago so as you can see this is why im not happy im sick of re releases i do really think whats the point.

I agree but i think you not got nothing to worry about i think the the rerelease will be different and will look cheaper just look at the recent re-releases from amazon.de for instance the dark knight the release looked cheap and i think that will be the same for underworld trilogy

Agreed, that's a good price for the original and not a million miles away from re-release

well sorry to say this for the people that want the re release but i hope it has no slipcover and has the fsk 18 printed on the steel. because that will ensure the limited nature of the original.
