[DISCLAIMER:] I put this together to help members who are looking for the USA version of the Universal 'Comic' Wave Blu-ray Steelbooks. Let me state that I don't want to mislead anyone with false information, so MODs if need be, please edit this thread as you see fit.

Amazon lists these titles as not being released until June 25, 2013, but some of the titles have appeared for purchase in store on May 7, 2013 at Walmart. See the following image (specifically, the top row of SteelBooks):

Therefore, unless I receive confirmation, it should be assumed the remaining titles (Hot Fuzz, Hulk, The Mummy, Paul, Shaun Of The Dead) won't be released until June 25, 2013.

Managed to get Scott pilgrim today. It was sold out in the other 2 walmarts I visited.

I think they are restocking these, I bought the last Scott Pilgrim last week and this week there was 4 more. Wonder why they didn't release the whole line still haven't released 5 of these.

I decided to go with the comic book wave before finishing the WB line simply because these all include a digital copy I wish the studios would wise up you re-release a movie in bluray it should always come with a digital copy now.

First Post!

Target is getting some of this wave in. Its suppose to be set 6/2 in electronics and it has a black box display. The display was 4 ft long and was half full with the universal steelbooks and the other half was just an empty box to prevent the box from crushing. So I dont know if we will be getting more titles in or not. The ones i saw were Chronicles of Riddick, The Big Lebowski and The Mummy! System said it was not available online. Due to being at work I didnt have time to take out of box and look through it. Trust me I wanted to rip that box apart but just didnt have the time. Price is set at 14.99 right now.

Interesting, I have been liking these as they make a set and all come with digital copies (went to get Chronicles of Riddick week and they were all gone so having a second source like Target might be nice). I still haven't seen 5 of these in stores yet (Mummy, Hulk, Paul, Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead) and still have 5 more to go on the set (Riddick, Incredible Hulk, Death Race, Scarface and Big Lewbowski) that is in the stores currently.

ok so now some of the universal wave is up for preorder on targets website... and conflicting with my post yesterday, it says available june 25th for 14.19 and the website says not sold in stores. The Mummy Steelbook Comic Version and The Big Lebowski Comic Version that I had in hand both had street dates of 6/2. I work sunday morning so Ill try to post confirmation if they are indeed on shelf. Also will update if street date changes.

got some more info... so the street date still says 6/2 in our system but its suppose be set 6/4 with the rest of the movies coming out. Got confirmation higher up that even tho our system has a 6/2 street date it will be set 6/4. I got a chance to open the box today and saw that Incredible hulk and Scarface were also in there. All of the steels looked to be in great condition, no loose discs or dents from the ones I held today. The display that its in is like the one thats already set in electronics near the end of one of the aisles (4ft long on top shelf and black). It doesnt look like well have more than 4 or 5 a title on release day but thats just from me visually looking in one box. No luck with Paul, Hot fuzz, or Shaun yet. Ill keep ya updated.

walmart will be lowering the prises for all the steels to 9.96$. comes from walmart paper from the south midwest part of the states...now word on if this is US wide

6/9 is the date its supposed to happen

These are on the shelves at my local BestBuy right now! Just picked up hot fuzz and shaun of the dead. Paid 14.99 a piece. They had the set up sheet on top of display so i took a peak. it said that it had a "set/street date" of 6/2 and a take down date of (7/30?, dont quote me on 30 I had a long day but i know for sure it was atleast july. They had everyone except Paul at mine... they had double of Scarface since the display holds the complete wave perfectly. I saw over at another site that another users Best Buy had the complete wave and not double of scarface like mine. Flipped through all to see if paul was misplaced and nothing... but all the steels looked in perfect condition unlike my local walmart.

I don't see paul though.

probably not as the warners have been on sale also and amazon didn't bump it, but they might be upsaet if they lose sales for keeping the street date

Went to 2 best buys today. Only the second one had them and not all them. No one has had Hulk though so I guess I'll have to order it. Also checked 2 Targets and only one of them had any and they only had 4 (Scarface, Lebowski, Serenity and Van Helsing).

Got the Doom steelbook from ebay, looks pretty nice! Maybe i'll add the Riddick ones and Scarface too.
