Regarding the code nezav10, can it be used on the same title twice?
I ordered this "UP" earlier today and I just tried to order another one to send to a different address but the code doesn't work, is it because I've already used it on this title? or has the code expired? or am I doing something wrong? any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance:thumbs:

It is not zavvi who decide the finish. Stop hating on them.

When it comes to their exclusives we don't know that is entirely true. They likely have several different options to pick from when ordering up an exclusive and to think a gloss finish is something Disney themselves decides really does not sit right with me. Licensing really does not work that way for most other products.

So your saying zavvi sometimes chose glossy and sometimes they dont? Its clearly the studios decision since we have had a mix of glossy and matte from various studios

If it is Zavvi's decision, why would they choose matte more often than not? Next you'll be trying to say MediaMarkt choose to have printed backs and Best Buy choose to have poor finishing and no inside art.

bottom line. Matte is a cheaper process and it sounds like Scanavo themselves are pushing matte finishes on their customers based off of information provided to us by Tony at Kimchi.

And you KNOW without a doubt that in is not the case? Don't roll your eyes and get all condescending at me when you know for sure about as much as I know. I am simply saying we don't know for sure WHO makes the decision. I doubt however the studio (Disney in this case) who likely have final say and approval ultimately gives a crap at the end of the day what finish their license holders want to use.

in one of the blogs on zavvi,, they did state that sometime gloss isnt used for classic titles (for example) .. i suppose it gives them an oldskool look. i dont know why everyone is so obsessed with gloss, everyone always having a glossgasm. gloss is not the be all and end all.

i agree with zavvi, sometimes a matte finish is more fitting depending on the title.
