Pretty unfortunate...I would contact them regarding the dents though and maybe they'll resend you a replacement. But the problem there is it will probably sit thru customs again. My first order arrived a few weeks back with no issues but I ordered it as a gift option. Not enough padding though so I was suprised the corners didn't have any issues.

They are sending me a replacement but like you say i'll get done on customs again probably :(

Last time, they marked mine down as 0 on the price. HMRC didn't like that and decided to charge vat on the full price that they found on the website. Dhl then added their usually handling charge on top.

Had the same thing with a amazon us replacement. Amazon marked value as $0. Ups called at the neighbours and asked for 40 quid. I refused and sent the carrier away. In the end managed to sort a deal with amazon to refund me the customs charges. Then I paid ups.

Don't get me started Rich, i am in dispute with DHL who currently have their debt recovery on to me as i refused to pay custom charges on a similar situation, so even though i did not receive the parcel they still want the custom fees.

So they didn't bother to deliver the package, but still want their cut?

I feel sorry fo r u guys, but you do know what u are getting into by ordering abroad.

This is one of my all time favorite movies.

I already have the USA / Canada steelbook but I think this one from Japan also looks great.

Would consider buying it again but the thought of it arriving damaged / customs is off putting

That put together with a possible Royal Mail "handling fee" is just to much at the moment

I've never been charged customs using Yesasia (where I ordered this from) as I believe they re-route this through Germany, which adds to the delivery time. I ordered this and Last Samurai and asked them to box them up and bubble wrap them. Both arrived mint with no customs duty.

Thats interesting, When I first looked at the YesAsia site I thought they only shipped to the USA & Canada, I now see that they have a seperate site for other international orders.

It is just short of the free shipping spend amount, If I add another steelbook it would make up the difference, Would that still be ok customs wise?

Thanks
Craig

It should be Craig. I've ordered 3 steels in one go from them before and not been hit.

I ordered this and Last Samurai this time round and was fine.
