Same release date as the steelbook and there are other dvd/bluray releases for this title previously. The Goonies dvd/bluray is released in January 2013, so definitely a chance that the 5th June version is a steelbook! The other thing is Amazon.co.jp are very good at putting 'amazon.co.jp exclusive' in their titles and this wave do not say that...

I really like it, when I was going to do the custom interior of my V for Vendetta I was going to use this image, but he was too center. if this is a steelbook it could make up for it.

Pre-orderd 5 Steelbooks of this wave on HMV, and it cost me 20€ to ship to France. It cost me a total of 109€, so less than 22€ per item. I think it's a fair price for a Japanse Steelbook.

For single items the default packaging for HMV-JP is better than Amazon-JP. Everyone knows Amazon-JP uses non-padded cardboard envelopes for single items. When I ordered a single steelbook from HMV-JP a few months ago it came in a foldable cardboard box and the steelbook slots inside. No padding.

Never ordered multiple items from HMV-JP but Amazon-JP stack the steelbooks together on a cardboard base and shrinkwrap the whole lot. This is then glued to the bottom of a larger box.


If I have an order from Amazon-JP with only one or two items I will always add the gift option and they will ship it like a multiple items order. This wont guarantee the steelbooks wont get damaged, just improves the chances of it arriving without any.

I've ordered another single item from HMV-JP with the gift option. Will let everyone know what its like.
