Mine seem to be in perfect condition but man the plastic shrink wrap wasn’t even tightly wrapped. Also that j card was a little pain to take off as it’s a thin sheet of paper that felt like they used Groilla Glue. Wonder if I will get issues returning the extras a day before release.

Strange. I just received my Canada Post delivery confirmation. On my way to the mailbox now.
Ok steel with matte finish and spot gloss on front. A shame no Inside artwork still happens in 2019...
I posted yesterday about the spot gloss but I didn't know what the term was so I deleted it. Previous reviews have only mentioned that it's a matte finish. The spot gloss is a nice effect on pretty much the whole image.

I had preordered the Venom Steelbook, along with 3 other items, back on 10.27.18, and found it strange that the Venom Canadian release date was weeks after the US release date; as noted above. I decided to overlook the US release, because of my Canadian preorder; I may now regret that decision, which I even struggled with at the time.
Noting that today is the Canadian release date for the Venom SteelBook, I checked my Order Status, because I haven't received an update and/or shipping notice/email. Sure enough, it hasn't shipped and is now listed as Out of Stock. I called Best Buy, which I suspected would be a waste of time before making the call, to validate, sure enough, my Venom SteelBook hasn't shipped and they have no stock to ship. Reminds me of an old Seinfeld episode, why even take the preorder, if you don't plan to have sufficient stock to cover the preorder(s)?
Of course, now, there is no stock of the Venom SteelBook at Best Buy USA (Bellingham, is convenient for me) either, and I'm not sure when/if I'll ever get the SteelBook at all.

I know this had happened before when they shipped out new preorders before all the people who preordered when they went live. They were listed as out of stock as well if I’m correct @Drum18. I preordered when it went live and they kept on getting sold out and available. I’m sure you will get your as your preorder will say sold out once it’s released if it is in fact sold out. Same as if it was in stock it would say in stock on your order page.

I'm worried I might be in the same situation... still no notification of it being shipped.

I hope you're right, but I'm not holding my breath; too pessimistic I guess. Thankfully I have a broker team I work with, in the US, for my job in Canada. I found a copy at a Best Buy in SoCal, and a workmate is grabbing it for me tomorrow.

So it turned up today at 1.30pm - the address label was absolutely 100% clear and I have no idea what the "issue" was yesterday morning
