Universal’s The Wolf Man focuses on Larry Talbot’s horrific and unknowing transformation into a feral wolf man. Lon Chaney’s performance as Larry, as well as the movie’s mythology and make-up, were undeniably influential to modern werewolf lore, and Anthony perfectly captures the duality of Larry’s unfortunate affliction.
Anthony’s print for the creeping classic, Night of the Living Dead, plays up the paramount terror in zombie movies, the sheer number of flesh-eating baddies. Neither boards nor barricades can stop the hordes of zombies, and Anthony’s print reaches out and pops right off the paper!
Calvin’s newest print is an impressive letterpress filled to the brim with maddeningly great architectural wizardry. Calvin’s linework is precise and stunning, and the letterpress printing adds a wonderful textural dimension.
