I didn’t mind this one. I found it much better than Glass Onion and much preferred the darker tone but like others have said it’s still nothing on the first which I absolutely adore and this was probably a bit too long. I do need to rewatch Glass Onion though.
I thought Brolin, Close and that Josh O’Connor were the standouts. They were great. Brolin rarely misses anyway and I’ve only seen that O’Connor in Challengers but he really owned this film which I wasn’t expecting. Takes about 40 minutes for Craig to even enter the screen lol
Personally I don’t think these films need to continue. The charm that Craig has in the first was never transferred in the sequels imo. Even the accent. It’s bad but good and it’s acceptable in the first. It works. It still works in the sequels but the charm is missing. Although I preferred him in this to Glass Onion
