No, that is not I meant. A matte finish isn't the end of the world. Even tho I, myself, is really disapointed too. But when we pay for a release, we don't only pay for the steelbook itself, but also all the extras, the lenticular/full slip/quarter slips packaging that comes with it. If you only buy a steelbook for the steel itself, I don't know why you chose blufans? Zavvi or any other retailers should be your first bet since they're only doing "naked steelbooks".

@razr24788 I know after seeing that picture of wall-e the finish looked ultra Glossy so gorgeous but them peeling off the plastic and seeing all those lines it's just not right if they don't give us for wall-e, and Thor as well, the Fully Gloss as it was supposed to be. After all we are the ones who buy repeatedly, the loyal blufans customers...if they don't tell Scanavo to fix it the way it should have been in the first place at one point they will lose all credibility and most of the collectors will see blufans as a thing of the past...

If you paying someone to produce something for you are you goner keep paying them to deliver crop on your doorstep for your money. Blufans should have told them straight the stock you have sent is damaged all of it and why scannavo in house quality control so crop you want to tell they didn't noticed oh all these wall e steels are f up but we send them to blufans anyway because that's how big headed we are. Yeah right after close deliberation I'm cancelling my order the credit I use for iron man he can take that out my refund and I will message him first to get definite confirmation the situation is what it is because the back of the steel is plain and not much else happening on the steel so that is going to look rubbish in matte, the gloss was suppose to brighten the back show a view of the night sky no matte can have the same effect.

i do not care at all about the slips, lenticulaurs, goodies etc on steelbooks releases
if i chose to take this , it was cause i really liked the front art which is an exclusivity and because i thought it would be a beautifull high glossy finish..

I think that slipcovers and other extras should be used to supplement a great Steelbook, not hide or make up for a poor Steelbook.

(unfortunately for me as i said i don't care about lenticulars etc , i buy steelbooks for steelbooks(makes quite sens for me..lol, so i had to open it, and of course with my regular/usual luck, i had/have several scratches +2 litlle pantchips )

It's sad to see this will be a matte finish, with this design I'll still like it but the gloss finish was always going to play a big part in making this stand out. I'm happy to get this one but after this and the epic delay of Frozen I'm happy to stop buying Blufans releases and playing the ebay game at the end of the line once everything is finalised and known.

Yes Blufans will make 2 wonderful slips but if indeed the Steels are Matte Finish and Scanavo is not fixing their error I am not purchasing/supporting this Release. Blufans needs to know that if they don't push back at Scanavo to get what was supposed to be, they won't be selling the copies and staying stuck with Unsold Matt finish steelbooks. I don't buy a release just because it has the''Blufans'' name on it, I support because as of now they have strived to produce quality releases from the disks, the bonus stuff, the STEELs as it should be and the Slipbox/Lenticular slip...if Blufans will not stand up for the quality they are known for, to release exquisite products, then what is the point to give them our money for mediocre products ??? If Thor, when Scanavo fixing the border issue is also another matte as they insinuated, I will pass again on this release and so on...if we keep giving them our money on poorly finish products, they will keep on producing them and not push back at Scanavo when they screw up. It looks like blufans is going down hill.

Agreed, Blufans needs to stand strong on this, otherwise Scanavo will sh1t all over them on future releases. Wall-E could send a dangerous precident and give Scanavo carte Blanche to do as they wish with no recourse.
I will almost certainly cancel any Marvels that are matte. I will try to get Wall-E spot glossed, hopefully that will help it.

But Blufans is a very small "company" and a legal dispute with Scanavo to get their invested money back will take rather long and may lead to a complete crash of Blufans. I think Blufans is trying the best for us fans and maybe we should support them in this situation rather than letting them down. Otherwise we may not see any more nice Blufans releases in the future. Just my two cents here... And I can still appreciate a great matte finish on a nicely done steelbook. Glossy would be nicer in this case, but unfortunately it will not happen due to the production problems. Therefore I will be happy enough with my matte Wall E.

I don't see what more they (Blufans) can do :they find a problem with steelbooks and sent them back to Scanavo
-They offer 5$ credit if you keep your order for each copy
-you can get a refund if you want to
-sure gloss finish would be awesome but if KimchiDvD can do a trick with Thor Dark World maybe Blufans can So i will wait for final judgment when they come.

P.SWhat Blufans should do after this release is to try protect themselves in next contracts against stupid decisions make it by Scanavo.
