Here we go again. This is how my 3rd copy has arrived...
It's annoying because I want this and I want a non-damaged copy but it's just becoming a real hassle. Also I'm worried Play will get annoyed/put me on ignore (or something like that) too because I keep sending these back. But what can I do? I'm not expecting perfect. I have plenty of steels with minor corner nicks but this kind of damage is unacceptable to me, especially the scratch across the back.

Thought I'd start with the WOTW disc that I got from the Play 3rd party seller, arrived in perfect shape.
Lovely steel book but IMO the picture quality is terrible, very grainy. I popped in the DVD and played the same sequence back to back and it's worse than the DVD. Still, great film and the sound quality is incredible.
But the picture... grainiest blu ray I have ever seen. Even in the menus.

So want to get my hands on this. Looks to be a real nice SB from what im reading. Would be keen to upgrade my older US amray version.
Whats this Play 3rd party seller you mentioned?
Edit : Had a look at Play but cant seem to find what youa re referring to but assume its part of the Playtrade thing. Dont think they can ship to Australia from what im seeing. Anyone know if this is possible?
If no does anyone know of a way of getting these SB's shipped to AUstralia? Is there any sort of "Help me get a SB" thread on here where there are some trusted members who can help with this sort of thing?

For those complaing about the picture quality. Its supposed to be grainy. The director has intentionally made this way and the higher res of BD just exagerates it more. Grain is a polarising thing for many viewers. You either love it or hate it. I thought WOTW's looked great myself.
Just watched this for the first time. It's rare that I watch a film and want every single person in it to die.
Seriously, if Dakota Fanning screeched at me like she does through 90% of this movie, I'd take my chances with the aliens.
