A new wave of Steelbooks coming to the USA, due for release on May 7th 2013-appearing at multiple retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, in-store at Costco, etc.

Small update:

actually about 3-4 titles will have inside art.

I got Book of Eli last week, it's pretty decent. Especially at 9.99

Frustrated, I knew that I likely wouldn't be able to get the set before they got sent back or disappeared. I really hate that they think they need to release 40+ titles all at once it really doesn't reflect on how well a steelbook market would do in the US when they have to send a ton back because they gutted the market in one foul swoop (they did this back at the death of the G1's too flooding the market with low end First Look films).

Did manage to pick up 2 more yesterday but it seems I back to online after this (still missing Gran Torino and Goodfellas funny enough I missed out on those 2 the last time Best Buy released these last year as well, I also didn't get the alternative artwork green lantern and Batman Begins and Dark Knight but they were low on the list as I was trying to complete the comic book and metalpacks I didn't have first). Best Buy worked theres back into genres but it seems like they sent a bunch back because they had way more than what I could find on the shelves before they reworked them in. Wal-marts just disappeared the display and been switched out with other movies and I couldn't find them anywhere (wonder if they will show up in a bin somewhere like the Resident Evils eventually did). And I have never seen them at Target.

That means I feel 14 short (not counting the 3 double dips) between this line, the comic book like and the metalpacks that got flooded on the market all at once. There is hope for 5 of the comic book movies as those were supposed to come out today.

Also noticed they changed the price online to $19.96 for these and Best Buy is back up to $19.99 where as in store Wal-mart had them at $12.96. I tried to get the Best Buy lady to price match the $12.96 not knowing they had disappeared from Wal-mart until afterwords and do the upgrade and save but she wouldn't do both at the same time.

I think I will go through amazon for the last 2 of these, unless I can find them at best buy because I think Best Buy does prize match on amazon. Didn't realize they were only $9.99 on amazon and the comic book ones are $14.99.

Pk you'd pay conversion rate $9.99 is 6.49 in pounds not sure if there is any custom charges.

There's no customs charge if the product price (not total price is under £15 or something like that) so 2 $9.99 steelbooks are about £20 delivered to UK, I ordered 5 of them.
Just note that Amazon.coms packaging is just a Jiffy bag and pretty crap.
Only order 2 at a time to avoid the customs charges.

Can someone please confirm if the Matrix steelbook has an inside artwork? Can't find any helpful pictures of this one

You can get The Matrix with inside artwork from Amazon Canada. But not as cheap as $9.99!
