What retailer is the reigning champ of Asian Steelbooks?

If price and shipment aren't different, then you could make your choice on packing, customer service, personal opinions, but at the end of the day. They both deliver.
Both companies pack and ship your orders with a lot of protection. Delivery times, based on standard shipping are equal.
So, what is left behind is:
- how big is their catalog?
- how steady is their website?
- how are there customer services like?
If it was up to me, I'd order from kimchi. Kimchi has a bigger catalog which you can choose from and that's why it tend to buy from kimchi. Nova is lacking width in their catalogue.
Have been ordering from them for years and it's always a pleasure. But if you dont have any preference, just order from whom you like.
Because at the end of the day, if you order the same title from both websites, there won't be a difference in price, protection and or shipping estimates.
But maybe other members have different opinions?

For me Plain Archive is the current leader. The attention to detail on there releases is fantastic. They don't have the biggest catalogue yet but every releases has brought something new and unique to the table. Novamedia release some of the best Lenticulars I have seen but there website and ordering is a let down and needs updating. Kimchi have always been good but don't seem to release much these days. Blu-fans also have some great releases, the QC isn't always the best but they do produce some great packages.
Chiming in with some quick HDZeta love... 
First wanted to give them some credit in being wise enough to pickup Kong as an excellent WWA release to then create a solid package for. This was such a smart choice compared to something like Nova GOTG where the steel clearly isn't up to par.
Secondly, the quality of their WEA steels is absurd. LOA (Lawrence) was always a classic but Gladiator and SPR are astounding. I can say with complete confidence that looking at the steel alone, HDZ can compete with anyone. Asian or not. I have always targeted releases for the steel and not the swag, and HDZ has yet to fail on delivering quality.

I have to defend Blufans. I'm having trouble understanding the fire they've come under in the last year, but man has the tide turned against them. I love my releases (some more than others) but I'm very proud of my Blufans collection. I have yet to see a lenticular of theirs that I didn't like, but the full slips could use some fine tuning.
Kimchi is steady. Quality releases with a few misses in terms of lenti quality.
Nova ostracized me right out the gate with Cap 2. I was online the minute that thing launched and was never able to order. Since then, I've attained releases through forum members and have fallen in love with the product. Full slips and lentis that I have are all top notch, and I'll be online awaiting future releases.
I've only had in hand Plain's ZDT steel tri-pack but every version is gorgeous. All three are unique and I'm a huge fan of the poster they came with. I'd like to see things like this more often. I've never given any 1/4 slips a second glance aside from Plain's releases.

Yeah, I think a lot of the annoyances come from the change in finishing, vs what was originally announced, the delays etc. There is no disputing though that they have some gorgeous releases. I think if the overall quality of a release is still considered something unique or limited, an audience will be there for their releases.

Pretty much agree with this exactly.
Plain Archive is the clear leader. They are putting out releases on a fairly consistent basis and every release is super high quality. I guess that people like Novamedia, but if you aren't a Marvel fanboy then I haven't really seen them do anything special--with the one exception of Lone Survivor--and their website is SH!TE. Kimchidvd is excellent, but it looks like they might be petering out...or just really really slowing down their release calendar. Blufans is pretty great and it sounds like they might start branching out into other movie genres besides Disney/Pixar and action.
Come on you gotta be joking ! Blufans are all over the place with quality. No consistency ! Blufans as much as they do nice titles, are at the very bottom in terms of quality.
