My first steelbook was actually Wanted on DVD, bought it sometime last year. I wasn't really buying movies back then, but picked it up because it looked nice and was only 5 euros. My first BR steel was the German WALL-E, bought it in february, since then I've been hooked.

My first and second was the Iron Man Futureshop steels. The first was damaged in shipping and had to arrange to purchase a second one.

Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows (Futureshop) - we saw the film at the cinema but we had bad seats so close to the screen it was all a blur lol

My first DVD steelbook (They weren't called that back then I don't think) was The Incredibles. It was just a tin container to place the dvd case in and it had a sticker on the front with the logo and the title.

My first bluray steelbook was Iron Man (the one with his face on the left and the embossed logo up the right)

Same, I bought it to upgrade my Scarface DVD, was just a coincidence that it was a steelbook!

For BD it was the BBY 007 steelbooks. But The Departed on DVD was my first steelbook!

Popped my steel cherry with Total Recall when the shininess caught my eye in my local HMV! That was about 4 weeks ago. I'm pretty much broke now

On a good note though I own about 15 steels, got 4 currently shipping and about 11 on pre-order! There's just too many to catch up with.

Also looks like Captain America and Thor will be missing from my collection for quiet some time too Guess that's what happens with being late to the game!
