So, which steelbook do you guys think will hit it big soon, even though it is still relatively easily available now? What could be the next IM, IB, JR????

My picks:

Fight Club (DE)
RockNrolla (DE)
Pandorum (DE)
Reservoir Dogs (DE)
Black Hawk Down (DE)
The Day the earth stood still (DE)

I actually have no idea about Australian, Asian, Canadian or other European steels and couldn't tell if e.g. some Canadian steel will be sold out soon. I think IB RE and American History X would be HUGE if they stopped producing them, but other than that I stick to what I (think I) know :D

Biased much? :hilarious:

Reservoir Dogs is OOP now and costs about 30€ sealed allready.

My guess is that Fast and Furious 1-3 from Media Markt will rise a bit when they are oop.

I predict the following: Farewell My Concubine/Real Steel/Rio (Blufans Exclusives - China), War of the Arrows (Korea), Drive (UK), the new Japanese wave (and in particular Inception), Real Steel (Netherlands) and hopefully all Play.com wave 2 steelbooks :scat:

I think any of the Previous Japan Wave are gonna be strong as they only pumped 5000 units of each oit , ie. Narnia will Top the Bill because of the Booklet tha comes with it & its OOP/OOs now , but allso some of the 1st print DE releases , like FightClub , 300 is getting expensive & a tad hard to find now .., and that Bloody ~ The Day The Earth Stood Still :scat:

The most sought after movies tend to be from places that don't ship internationally, Like Future Shop or Media Market. although it helped that many were released years ago when Blu-ray was just building up. My guess for the next big thing could be one of these China exclusives

It's all a guessing and gambling game to which SB is going to be the next big one. The china releases are sure going to go up in value. Let the bullets fly was sold for 150 Euros and that is not even with shipping.

I think the Japanese wave, when they go OOP, will be a strong increase in demand but they won't be any silly price. Apart from the Inception, all the other white SB's blows the others away. I may have to start selling my CA releases.

I think Transformers Revenge of fallen FS, Star Trek play.com/FS, will be the next ones to rise steadily in value. I can see a sealed one going for $200-$300 in the near distant future.

i also hope that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen FS goes way up in price too... please be the next Iron Man FS!!!

Right now, it is harder to find the next Iron Man or Rambo because every country are starting to do releases. It was good when it was just FS but now you have Play, Amazon, and other countries. It devalues SB. But I still think any of the FS exclusives like Public Enemies would retain a high value as it is hard to find one.

yeah, a public enemies just went for $140 sealed on ebay, but it did come with an alice and wonderland (big whoop )

i don't think i'd pay over 100 for it, but that's just me
