It's absolutely scandalous that a retailer puts more stock on Ebay at 35% more than the original price.

Why not put it at £17.95 on their own site, like they did the other day, which is more beneficial to all?

We're already paying a lot more for steelbooks with Play.com's demise.

I feel stolen, Zavvi cancelled my steel, for no reason. Saying they can't help me, I need to re-order. When I say it's already sold-out, they say I need to retry in the future, might be available.

So sad... hope someone can help me out.

Similar thing here. There was something wrong with paypal payment, so I wrote to zavvi to just charge me again and they said it's their policy to cancel all paypal payment problems, no matter what the problem is. So I lost my order. And they told me as well to re-order. Re-order an OOP item??

Really feel sorry for all those members that got their preorders cancelled by Zavvvi, I would have been really pissed off too if they did the same to mine, thanks god they didn't as this thing oozes quality all over it, gotta try & get my pal one now though but finding it hard to get hold of another one.

There are a few on ebay. A few auctions and a few buy-it-now ones, but they don't come cheap. Round 30-40 GBP + shipping.

I don't get why it was canceled. The card I used had no money on it at the time of release as I used a card where I transfer money to it as and when I need it. They e-mailed me to have me check over my details and gave me 24 hours to rectify the problem before they would cancel.

Zavvi finally got back to me about my damaged copy. They asked for me to email photos. From experience does anyone know what they usually do after this? Offer refund? Tell me im **** out of luck? lol

They usually send replacements, but since it's sold out, you're looking at a refund I guess. They do ask for returning the damaged copy though, and the whole ordeal can take over a month.

I think it was already damage before because the packaging was in perfect condition, when I opened the box the steel was really bent on the edge!
You can see the edge is higher and next to it is a huge dent, but unfortunately you can not see it in the picture, that's why the edge is so high because of the large dent!

Now I am a bit worried if my copy will arrive without any damage. Sorry to hear that a few members received a dented steelbook.
