Holy sh...!!

I don't know whether to say "Typical Zavvi" or "I love you Zavvi!".

I haven't been buying from Zavvi in months, but I'm well and truly on board for this one! :D

Zavvi are putting me off collecting steelbooks more and more

Well not only Zavvi, but also the supplier of all those german steels.
A lot of the same movies are released.

That's the reason I focus more on the Asian releases the last couple of months, as a result I won't have buy all the Disney releases anymore like this one or Oz.

I never expected to see new UK re release of this its caught me totally off guard and a complete surprise

I would though have rather seen a film that's still to get a steelbook release and be in the top 5 most wanted films still awaiting a steelbook release

I will get this though as I love the film even though I already have the previous Zavvi Who Framed Roger Rabbit Steelbook

Just be more selective. Pick and chose those you value more and simply ignore the rest. Only made about 3 or 4 purchases direct from Zavvi last year. There will be even fewer this year.

Also PASS for now as I never really liked the fusion of real humans and cartoons

It looks good to me! I'm not sure whether it looks better than the red version but if it's like the Last Stand Gold it could be even better than the first one!:D

This is a no-brainer purchase for me even though I own the original. I don't see this as a rerelease since they obviously tried to go with a different look. I think it will look great and be highly sought after.

If it is gold like other steels, then I'm in. Have to own all the gold steelbooks yenno?
But this REALLY sucks for those who own the first red version, its not fair at all. Plus if this sells fairly, we might start seeing previously sold out Zavvi releases :squint:

Just curious, will we see all further Zavvi releases being celebrated after 2 years of their original release? I mean, after 2 years already? With the same art and just different color/embossing? German sellers were milking the cash cow that way for a long time, but seeing the 'home of steelbooks' act that way.......meh. I know why I am cutting down on collecting steelbooks. There are so much films without steelbook release yet that are worth celebrating their 2 years with. But like almost all the time we will see the same films over and over again, just to maximize profit. And yet the quality of the steelbooks deteriorated over the last years. Seems like there is only Plain left to bring us the real exclusive stuff.
