It's getting hard to keep up with all these UK titles selling out before their release dates. I'm sure it never used to happen so regularly as this? It makes you wonder if print runs have been scaled down or whether it's simply more buyers.

I can't explain it either, if you think of all the great catalogue titles that Play used to bring out with minimum print runs that took forever to sell out and some still haven't, and then you get this completely random title that nobody has wanted on steelbook or requested anywhere on here that I can see, that has apparently sold out everywhere weeks before it's released.

Print run is the minimum, I think - but remember now that the min is being shared by all the retailers and not just 1 of them.

I would think the biggest share would go to amazon and the rest get the remainder.

True, but this one is sold out everywhere. For a catalogue title of a not-hugely popular or successful movie in its day I find that pretty surprising.
