First report on the playback issue with the Sundance cut disc:
*panic mode initiated*

Would you guys check your Sundance copy, please?

0:52:17 mark, just after they find the body, and before our protagonist goes to talk to a character named Chip.

Frames start dropping significantly, which is especially painful to watch when characters move or when the camera pans. Is my copy alone defected, or is the entire batch ruined? Theatrical cut doesn't have this problem.

:dead::dead::dead::dead::dead:
Unfortunately, there never was a replacement disc:
Ok, I’ve had confirmation from Kimchi - There will be NO replacement disc offered for this. According to The Blu Collection, they are saying this is the original version of the film and that there are no errors.

Don’t shoot the messenger!

I'll keep an eye out for it when I give it a whirl. Assume by that I don't have a "fixed" disc, but I can't remember there being any issues last time I watched it.. but that may be my memory.

Starts at 0:52:17, ends at 0:53:40; frame rate drops. It's quite obvious when the camera pans from left to right, stutter is significant.

So it only lasts 83secs? May be why I don't remember it. It's not ideal, but not a huge deal to me. Not like it happens throughout
