I love HDN because it's pretty much an "ego free zone", plus many members have helped me out on numerous occasions.
Music wise I have seriously wide tastes, from Sam Cooke to Slayer (and that's just the s's!). Currently big into The War on Drugs, who I saw on Saturday night and were spectacular.

1. I love HDN because it f**king rocks and I'm addicted. It's the best place in the world online and I get all my info through this site which has been the groundwork to my collection and will always be. People are great mods are excellent and met some awesome people /friends.

2. i grew up with hip hop and rap and underground. Some examples ... Mos def, nas, jay-z, eminem, wu tang (particularly method man, raekwon, ODB and ghost), gang starr, red man, Ja rule (back in the day lol), biggie, 2pac, outkast, bone thugs, obie trice, joe Budden, busta, DMX, cam'ron, Luda, dre, pharoahe monch, cube, odd future, . Also some English like jamie t, plan b, ghost poet , early dizzie, dan le sac and Scroobius pip. Ahh I can go on and on

and I'm also massive indie, rock, psychedelic. Loads really. Examples....

I love HDN because it's pretty much the only place anyone needs to come to find news for collectibles relating to movies. Also its members are extremely knowledgeable on the subject and can answer just about any question you might have about movies and collecting.

I pretty much like any type of music including classical, soul, jazz, rock and (ahem) folk etc, basically anything that might catch my ear, but my first love is electronic music.

I love HDN because....

In my mind it's the strongest community driven forum out there.

The sheer amount of helping members, the positive energy all around, the enthusiasm of anything, makes it a happy place to visit after work, or even better....

During work!

I love the building up of a release, to see so many people wanting a certain release and just talking about what we love. If this is home theater, music, digibooks or whatever.

I see myself coming back more often day by day and I am beginning to remember forum names and how certain members react.

All the people and staff who arrange groupbuys.... My god, you guys are the best. I cannot simply understand how you guys manage! I have a family with 2 small children, a busy job and like to be somewhat social, I wouldn't even have the time for all this time consuming work.

To all of you out there, doing this (you guys know who you are). I salute you! Thank you for making it so much easier for all Ninja's to get a certain release. You guys are awesome.

Getting tagged by fellow Ninja's when something new appears, feels so good. Makes you feel part of a 'brotherhood'.

It's this community, that's the heart of HDN. And I'm loving it, just as much as I love McDonald's.

Regarding music....
When I was young, my father always put on music from Fleetwood Mac, Franky Sinatra, Tony Bennett, The Cars, Queen, James Brown and alot of jazz.

This shaped me music wise and today I still listen to them. Especially Franky, no one can beat Mr. Sinatra. The whole time era I find intriguing. I see myself all the way dressed in my best suit and just being such an distinguished gentleman. Hahahahaha.

Nowadays I listen to everything, I love music and especially gear which makes music sound terrific, clear and transparant while still maintain enough body. Listen to Trentemöller on some good headphones and I travel in my mind to places not seen to man.

On my Spotify list you will find:
